After searching for almost 4 days, 80% of the landslide site area at the Batang Kali campsite has been searched.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Director Datuk Norazam Khamis said the rescue team has searched 80% of the landslide site but hasn’t found the whereabouts of the 9 missing victims, reported China Press.
The search for the remaining nine victims resumed on Monday morning after rain stopped the operations the previous day.
“Due to the rain last night, the soil was soft, making it more difficult for rescuers to continue their search and rescue mission.”
“Besides, the rain also caused the soil structure to become moist and weak.”
“Although there is only 20% of the search area left, the safety of search and rescue personnel must still be considered.“
