Caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob confirmed that the Barisan Nasional (BN) will not form a coalition government.
In a Tweet, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said they are ready to stay in opposition for now.
Later at around 3:35 pm, BN secretary-general Dr Zambry issued a statement to clarify that no MPs from BN have given support to Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to be the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia.
