Last night, former Dolla member and singer, Syasya Rizal, 23, walked into her wedding reception hall to the nostalgic tune of the popular Japanese anime series, Doraemon.
Syasya’s love for the Doraemon series and its characters played a part in her falling for her husband, Nasrullah Mohd Sapie.
“One of the reasons I was attracted to him is because I love Doraemon. So, every time I see him, I think of Doraemon,” she told Harian Metro.
Interestingly, netizens have also compared Nasrullah’s appearance, 23, to Nobita, a character from the series.
“If there’s a resemblance, it’s been there since the beginning, not just now. Close friends have always called me Nobita,” he said.
At the event, Syasya and Nasrullah wore outfits in soft blue tones, celebrating with over 1,000 guests.
The couple tied the knot on April 20, shortly after Syasya shocked the local entertainment industry by announcing her departure from Dolla on April 8.
