At the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), a stunning golden dragon sculpture is catching everyone’s attention.
This sculpture is huge, standing 12 feet tall and 25 feet long, all made of polystyrene and painted in bright gold. It’s become the star of the airport’s Chinese New Year celebration, themed “Celestial Splendour” at Terminal 1.
The dragon isn’t just any decoration; it’s been recognized as the largest golden dragon sculpture in Malaysia and has been officially added to the Malaysia Book of Records.
From 1 until 24 February 2024
This dragon represents strength, tradition, and the rich history of imperial China and is even accompanied by a grand dragon throne, making visitors feel like they’ve stepped into ancient times.
The excitement around the dragon has turned KLIA into a hotspot, with many people visiting Terminal 1 just to see this magnificent sculpture and share their experience on social media.
