Former Penang Chief Minister and incumbent Lim Guan Eng is currently leading the race to defend his Air Putih seat.
According to Astro Awani, he currently has 406 votes, while his Perikatan Nasional (PN) opponent Kong Cheng Ann has 39 votes. As for PRM candidate Teh Yee Cheu, he only has 15 vote.
