The shuttler’s journey at the Paris Olympics might have ended without a medal, but he’s got something even more precious waiting for him at home — a baby boy!
On August 7, Loh took to Instagram to share the heartwarming news that he and his wife have welcomed their first child.
“Welcome to the world, our precious little one,” he wrote, beaming with joy.

Loh’s caption was a blend of pride and gratitude:
“Finally coming home to my medal ❤️ Thankful for the support received during my wife’s pregnancy journey, especially my in-laws for taking extra care of her when I’m away for tournaments so that I could focus well.”
He put up a strong fight in Paris Olympics but ultimately lost to Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen in the quarterfinals.
