SHAH ALAM – While many Malaysians celebrated the national men’s team bagging the historic gold at the recent Badminton Asia Team Championships (BATC) 2022, some also took the opportunity to show their hospitality towards a certain badminton team.
In an Instagram story posted by Korean shuttler Noh Jin Seong, a horde of excited Malaysian fans could hardly keep their emotions in when the team walked out from the Setia City Convention Centre.
The fans were also seen waving their hands and screaming ‘Oppa‘ (older brother), taking Noh by surprise who simply wrote ‘와우’ (Wow) in his caption.
In a separate IG story, he also shared footage of the team leaving the venue and fans bidding farewell to them.
He also expressed his gratitude for the warm (though overwhelming) response by putting a ‘Thank You’ sticker in the story.
