PH candidate and incumbent Dr Mazlee Malik has suffered a shocking loss after failing to defend his Simpang Renggam seat.
The seat was won by BN’s Hasni bin Mohamad, who garnered 18,312 votes against Mazlee’s 16,491 votes.
Mazlee previously held the Simpang Renggam seat during the 2018 general election, where he defeated Gerakan’s Liang Teck Meng.
