In a time where even a cup of kopi can cost more than RM3, one humble roadside stall in Alor Setar is going viral for offering iced drinks at extremely low prices.
A TikTok video shared by a construction worker recently showed him buying teh o ais ikat tepi (iced tea in plastic bag) for just RM0.50. Even Milo ais was only RM1.
“This makcik really sells super cheap drinks. Teh o ais only 50 sen. Milo also just RM1. May her business thrive and bring her blessings,” he said in the clip.
The video, later reposted on X (formerly Twitter), gained traction quickly, with netizens praising the stall owner’s generosity and kind heart.
The viral post has since sparked a wave of support online, with netizens calling her a “national treasure” for keeping drinks affordable.
