Khairy: Parents can now track the vaccination rate of their children’s school with new feature

PETALING JAYA – Parents can now have a look into their children’s school vaccination rates starting today.

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin said in a Tweet that this was to empower all levels of society with transparency as the nation transitions into the endemic phase.

“The Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) have launched the “School Search” feature on the CovidNow website.

“Parents can now get vaccination data at the school level of your children, which includes the percentage of staff and students who have been vaccinated through the link https://covidnow.moh.gov.my/school,” he said today.

Khairy added that he hoped this would encourage parents to send their children back to school.

“So far, the schools listed are under the management of the MOE, but private schools can email to covidnow@moh.gov.my with the subject ‘COVIDNOW Inclusion’ to be added into the list,” he said.
