Recently, a woman took to Threads to share how her seemingly religious friend, who dressed modestly and projected an image of piety, was allegedly hiding a very different side to her personality.
“I was fooled all this time”
According to the mStar, the woman share that her friend wore long hijabs, claimed to be shy around men, and rarely spoke to them. However, one day she discovered text messages on her friend’s phone that told a different story.
She was chatting with multiple men, including married ones,” the woman alleged. “All this while, I was fooled by her image. I never thought she would do this.”
Things got worse when the friend allegedly tried to get close to the husband of one of their acquaintances, prompting the woman to cut ties with her completely.
I just couldn’t accept it when she texted our friend’s husband late at night. Luckily, the husband didn’t entertain her,” she said.
Since then, I decided not to stay friends with people like this. They exist, and I’m done trusting them.”
