A massive furniture shop fire near the LDP captured the attention of passersby, many of whom shared videos of the incident on social media.
According to Astro Awani, the fire destroyed nearly 100 percent of the furniture shop located along Jalan SS8/7 in Petaling Jaya.
According to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, the fire is believed to have started around 10:40pm, with the first emergency call received at 10:46pm.
More than 40 personnel from six fire stations were dispatched to the scene.
Thankfully, the fire was brought under control by 11:30pm, with no injuries or casualties reported. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damages are still under investigation.
