“Why so slow?” KJ responds to vaccination rates on TikTok

KUALA LUMPUR – Following the arrival of the COVID-19 vaccine and rollout in Malaysia, many have fiercely critisised the vaccination rates, questioning why it was moving way behind schedule.

Among them is former prime minister Najib Razak, who said it would be near impossible for the government to achieve herd immunity within the time frame.

In response, Khairy Jamaluddin, the head of the vaccination rollout program, took to TikTok to issue a formal explanation for the slow vaccination rates today.
